Fall Farm Truck Cookies & Packaging Recommendations
Over the weekend, I made this new Fall Farm Truck Set.
What I love about this set is you can alter it to fit any holiday or occasion. The truck design is split into two parts, which allows you to change out the back half, like to this Christmas tree truck design. I'll showcase that Christmas set when it gets closer to the winter holiday.
For now, because I baked up a few sizes of these fall farm truck cookies, I thought it would be a great time to go over recommended packaging ideas for this type of 4-piece cookie set. Packaging options can be overwhelming to sort through, but I hope this quick post will help lay out which packaging will work for what size and where to find them.
Fall Farm Truck Cookie Cutter Set
Just added to the shop for this fall season is this Fall Farm Truck Set.
It's available in regular, small, and mini sizes. I'll showcase each of these sizes in the pictures below.
Templates for the Fall Farm Truck Cookie Set
To help with the decorating process, I made a PDF template available for this new fall farm truck cookie set.
You can download these cookie templates HERE.
If you have a Kopykake or Pico projector, just print it out (or pull it up on your mobile device) and you are good to go. For those without a projector, follow the suggested steps below by tracing the design onto the cookie with an edible food marker.
Icing Color Combinations
For the colors used for these fall pumpkin truck cookies, you will need the following suggested colors:
- Autumn Blue royal icing (I mixed Americolor Regal Purple with Forest Green.)
- White icing (I used Americolor Bright White.)
- Black icing (I used Americolor Super Black.)
- Gray icing (I used a touch of Americolor Super Black.)
- Pumpkin icing (I mixed Americolor Orange with a touch of Warm Brown.)
- Brown icing (I used Rainbow Dust Chestnut.)
Cookie Packaging Ideas
If you prefer larger-scale cookies, the REGULAR size is a great option.
Averaging around 3.5" for each cookie, this REGULAR 4-piece set would fit nicely in this 8"x8"x1.5" cookie box from BRP Box Shop. The lid is attached to the bottom of the box, which I find convenient.
If you'd prefer a 2-piece option, I have a box recommendation for that too.
Focusing on just the truck for this example, this REGULAR truck set fits perfectly in this 7" x 4 3/8" x 1 1/4" box from BRP.
Sometimes, the smaller the scale, the cuter the cookies. Just look at these minis!
Averaging a little over 2" in size, this 4-piece MINI set slides perfectly in these 3"x11" bag sleeves. I get my bag sleeves from Papermart.
Even if you decide to offer just the 2-piece MINI truck, it's still a cute option. I used the same 3"x11" bags, but I trimmed the length down to size.
If you would like to see how I made these truck cookies, you can follow this tutorial for the single piece option. The decorating steps are exactly the same, just for one single cookie instead of two.
We have a variety of cute cookie cutters for all occasions and events and our collection is always growing. If you love this fall truck cookie design, you're going to love the Valentine farm truck cookie set using the same idea!
