To help with the decorating process, I made a PDF template available for the new Father's Day cookie designs, including this golf cookie cutter set.

If you have a Kopykake or Pico projector, just print it out (or pull it up on your mobile device) and you are good to go. For those without a projector, follow the suggested steps below by tracing the design onto the cookie with an edible food marker.
The Cookie Decorating Process
For these golf cookies, you will need the following suggested colors:
- Red royal icing (I used Americolor Super Red.)
- White icing (I used Americolor Bright White.)
- Black icing (I used Americolor Super Black.)
- Gray icing (I used a touch of Americolor Super Black.)
- Brown icing (I used Chocolate Brown.)
- Green piping icing (I mixed two parts Americolor Egg Yellow and one part Americolor Mint.)
- Blue (I used Americolor Royal Blue.)
Putting Green Golf Cookies
Step 1
Begin by first adding a thin layer of black icing where the hole will be. I used a food-only paintbrush to apply the thin layer.
Next, fill around the hole and cover the entire cookie with green icing. Let this icing dry.
Step 2
Add the red flag detail, as soon. Let this icing set.
Lastly, add the brown pole next to the flag and add the white golf ball detail.
Golf Ball Cookies
Step 1
For these golf ball cookies, begin by filling in the golf ball section with white icing and the grass section with green icing. I also quickly added golf ball dimples with gray icing and shook the cookie smooth.
Once those sections had time to set, I filled in the middle tee section with blue icing. Let this entire cookie dry completely before moving on.
Step 2
Once the base layer of icing has time to fully dry, it's time to add the lettering.
Stencil on the Best DAD by Par stencil with black icing. (You can view this post for tips on stenciling with icing.)
Step 3
Lastly, add the outlines to the tee and the grass, as shown.
