Autumn and Pumpkin Spice Mini Cookie Sets
I always look forward to this time of year because autumn is, by far, my favorite season. (I know it's still technically summer, but I had my first pumpkin spice latte at Starbucks last week and it has felt like fall ever since.)
What better way to celebrate the upcoming autumn season than with mini cookies!
Just posted to the shop are two new themed mini sets. Unfortunately, because of other projects and keeping busy with shipping Halloween orders (Thank You!), I wasn't able to do any tutorial videos for these designs. However, each design is fairly simple, which is how I like to keep my mini cookies.
Below is a brief overview of the eight new autumn cookie cutters available in my shop.
Template for Autumn and Pumpkin Spice Mini Cookie Sets
Each of these new Autumn and Pumpkin Spice cookie designs has a template file you can download to help guide you through the decorating process.
Click the link below for the downloadable template PDF file.
If you have a Kopykake or Pico projector, just print it out (or pull it up on your mobile device) and you are good to go. For those without a projector, you could cut out the paper template and trace the design onto the cookie with an edible food marker.
Decorated Fall Cookies
Pumpkin Spice Mini Cookie Set
First up is this Pumpkin Spice Mini Set. It may be considered "basic" but I thought it would be fun to have a set of cookies that honored all things pumpkin spice! I even made these cookies using my Pumpkin Spice Toffee cookie recipe.
The set consists of a pumpkin spice mug, a square pumpkin, a pie on a plate, and a pumpkin spice cupcake.
With all minis, these are also available in regular size if you prefer something larger.
Autumn Mini Cookie Set
The other set available for the fall is this Autumn Mini Set. It's a small collection of what I thought represented fall while being cute and simple. To add a little "something" to an otherwise simple cookie, I lightly brushed pink petal dust on their cheeks to give them some rosy color.
This set includes a fox with a scarf, an autumn letters plaque, an acorn, and a maple leaf.
Again, these minis are also available in regular sizes, as well.
Autumn Icing Colors
For reference, and because I couldn't offer tutorials for this round of cookie designs, I still wanted to provide the icing colors I used for these sets. Hopefully, you might find the list below useful if you decide to recreate these cookies for yourselves.
- Autumn Teal Blue - I used my favorite fall blue color combination.
- Mustard Yellow - I mixed Americolor Gold with a touch of Americolor Egg Yellow.
- Burnt Orange - I always use this pumpkin color combination from Sweet Sugarbelle.
- Olive Green- I used Rainbow Dust Olive.
- Dark Brown- I used Rainbow Dust Chestnut.
- Tan- I mixed Americolor Ivory with Americolor Warm Brown
Happy Fall Y'all!
