New 2018 Christmas Cookie Cutters and Designs
It's October, and here at Semi Sweet Designs that means it's time to announce the latest Christmas cookie cutters designs!
There's a mix of everything for every decorating skill level, from simple to detailed. Some designs are a remake of past designs, and other designs are ideas I've always wanted to try.
These Christmas cutter designs are now available for purchase from my shop. However, over the next couple of days, I plan on doing a tutorial of a few of these cookie designs in detail. So be on the lookout for those upcoming posts.
Below is a quick overview of the new Christmas cookie cutter designs that I hope will put you in the Christmas spirit!
New Christmas Cookie Cutters
Added to the shop are eight new cookie cutter designs!
I wanted to provide options for everyone, so I created designs that work well as a set or as singles. Also, after a number of requests for another platter design, I included a new platter idea too!
Available in my shop you can find a Christmas Lights Cookie Platter, a Santa's Sleigh with Flying Reindeer, Round or Tear-shaped ornaments, a gingerbread boy and a gingerbread girl with candy, and a coordinating gingerbread house design.

Decorated Christmas Cookies
Christmas Lights Cookie Platter
This Christmas Lights Cookie Platter brings the nostalgic feels of the large Christmas light bulbs we used to decorate the tree with during my childhood. The platter consists of 12 light bulb cookies and a single center message cookie. When assembled, the string of lights should look "connected".
Santa Sleigh and Flying Reindeer
This set of a Santa Sleigh and its companion Flying Reindeer is a remake of this Santa in Flight Platter idea from a few years ago.
My goal was to simplify the past platter idea and offer a gift box option that could work well as a pair or trio of cookies.
Christmas Ornament Cookies
I'm surprised I've gone this long and haven't provided an ornament cookie cutter before.
Well this season I'm offering two! The round ornament and tear-shaped ornament are your basic and typical ornament cookie cutter shape. However, I added some personality by decorating a "hook" as a curl of hair on these pretties.
Gingerbread People and Gingerbread House
This last theme is probably my favorite out of this year's collection.
I've made gingerbread man cookies in the past, but I felt he lacked a female companion. So now I have one available!
I also went with a peppermint theme with these guys. You can now find this gingerbread candy boy and candy girl, as well as a coordinating gingerbread house in my shop!
I'm currently working hard readying the template and tutorials for these cookies. But I also have a fun, related surprise in store that I'm trying to get prepared. Believe me, I think you will love it. Check back later for the soon-to-be-released details!
