Here's how you can recreate your own Christmas lights cookie platter that will surely bring Christmas cheer to all your party guests.

I thought it would be fun to expand on the gingerbread theme. Instead of focusing on a single gingerbread man design, this time around I came up with a set that also includes a female companion and a gingerbread house. I also went with a peppermint theme to tie in with this new gingerbread theme.

First up are these Santa Sleigh cookies. I'll show you how to decorate these sleighs today. But stay tuned because I'm going to follow this post with a separate tutorial on the flying reindeer design in the next day or so. They work wonderfully together as a pair or as a gift set of three.

Designing a reindeer cookie cutter was a bit of a challenge. Reindeer typically have thin antlers and skinny, long legs that could easily break as a cookie. My goal was to come up with a cookie cutter shape that was compact and solid, something that was sturdy enough to handle and possibly ship.

Is anyone else still coming down from the holiday high after Christmas? Unfortunately for us cookiers, there's not a lot of time for rest. With 2019 almost upon us, that means Valentine's Day is quickly approaching. I wanted to act fast and stock the shop up with new Valentine's Day holiday options as soon as I possibly could. Hopefully, this gives you more than enough time to plan out your own cookie options for the upcoming holiday.

Out of all the new designs from this year's Valentine collection, these robot cookies are probably the most intricate. When drawing up new cutter designs, I try my best to keep things simple. While I love how these robot cookies turned out, the design still ended up with more small sections and decorating details than I would have liked.
